There will always be someone or something lurking in your midst to attempt to steer you off track and more importantly to get you off of God's track. There is an abundance of negativity due to a lack of and poor visibility. But where we stand is by far and will take us much farther than if we were to never stand, more importantly, take a stand for someone or something that is representative and demonstrative of positivity, in the form of Heavenly.

We will never be perfect enough to perfectly live up, but we shall always be perfect enough to get up, each and every time we find ourselves anywhere BUT, standing!

We may never be perfect in our own eyes, but we shall always be perfect in the eyes of God, through the intercession of the intersection called Jesus's Way.

"By Any Other Petal"

My eyes were the last to witness the true essence of an existence that denial claimed to not be true. But Jesus knew exactly when and where He would reveal what I needed to see, in order for me to garner better visibility.

You see the last will be first, and the first will be last. Glory be for delivering me from such an egregious past. But the past is exactly where it belongs and my heart knows Who it is, that I belong.

Discovery is the main ingredient for recovery! Worth repeating: Discovery, is the main ingredient, for Recovery!

The beauty extends beyond the beauty that is contained within, but the purpose of the exterior is to protect the beauty, that is contained within.

The petals that contribute to the beauty of a rose are not in denial regarding their reciprocated importance. Its last petal shall be the first petal. And the first petal shall be the last petal.

Irrespective of the position of the petals, "By Any Other Petal," it is still a rose and it knows, Who, it belongs to.

Visibility has never been so clear, in Jesus's time!

Talking to a friend of mine, he echoed sentiments that I concurred with at no less than 100%. That God will and does use you whether or not you know it or not. Taking it a step further, God will use you with or without your permission. Imagine God actually asking you to play a part in His already laid plan in order to carry out His Will. Such a question shall never arrive within your inbox. And there will be no need to check the junk mail folder because it will not be found there either.

Marinated in the truth.
Gated perimeter containing said truth.
Perched up high so that you can see the truth.

Now that the fear of heights has been conquered, it is high time to take it and me higher. Funny how we wind up being our very own obstacles and road blocks on our very own paths in Life. "You Cannot Scale What You Are Afraid to Climb!"

Exceedingly and abundantly confident that the mountains before me only serve as a preamble to the victory that is behind me.

If my destiny is perched high up that mountaintop, how would I have ever been victorious had I not conquered said fear of heights? "You Cannot Scale What You Are Afraid to Climb!"

If the top of that mountain brings me closer to Jesus, who is waiting to distribute my victory in the form of my purpose and my destiny, then hinder me not from climbing higher so that He can take me farther. "You Cannot Scale What You Are Afraid to Climb!"

And when I reach that mountaintop, allow me to bask in the glory of Christ, albeit temporary. So long as their is breath in my lungs, there is work to do, scaling what I was once afraid of, but no more, for "You Cannot Scale What You Are Afraid to Climb!"

The strength of the weakened is replenished by the source of strength of the strong. If energy never dies and it is just transferred, Pray for strength as your resources are called upon to make someone else strong or stronger in their attempt at defying the odds by plotting a path for themselves, forever altering the landscape of their existence that would include peripheral components that now Smile in the wake of your generosity.

Do not sleep or rest when an opportunity presents itself to make a change, orchestrate a change, facilitate a change or step out from the shadows and BE that change, that source, of that strength, that now Smiles.

Stepping up often translates to stepping out of your comfort zone into an area that might not seem palatable at first, but the most rewarding by way of nourishment for your heart and soul at best.

Growth is not obtained within your confined area. And strength is stronger than what you can muster. "Therein Lies Your Best, That is Yet to Come."

"Card for Mom"

On my lunch break, in the Hallmark store shopping for Christmas cards for my children and right next to their cards were the cards for Mothers. I picked up the first one and didn't even bother picking up anymore, for the message in that one, said it all.

Then I started thinking about the last time that I had the opportunity to buy My Mother a Christmas card. It was December 2006...that was the last time. I had no idea what would be in store, less than one year later.

I didn't relinquish my sanity into a heap of emotional hysterics, but it did take me back as I stood right in the middle of the aisle, reading the card and reminiscing on how I used to pick out Mother's cards. You see if it did not speak to me, then I knew that it would not speak to her. And I was able to discern that at first glance. My goal is to apply that same philosophical approach in all aspects of my Life.

Smile.

It is the little things such as card shopping in the Hallmark store at this time of year. But Glory Be To God, for I still have Loved ones to buy Christmas cards for. It might not be the same, but the Love is no less than and for that, I am grateful, STILL!

I shall always cherish the memories of my time in the Hallmark store looking for a Christmas "Card for Mom."

"Man Plans, But God Decides"

We were supposed to be departing Malaysia and did not have time to make three more quick stops to see so many more people. But low and behold, we found the time, made the time and I am forever grateful that we changed our minds.

We walked into their home and the first thing that you notice was the garland draped photo of this handsome young man, younger than I. Standing there were his two children. The eldest, his son, standing, bald cut, strong and brave for he was now the man of the house. His daughter, the baby, so eloquently beautiful, vastly unaware of the meaning of the outpouring of support for her Father. Then there was the children's Mother, his wife. A beautiful, but fragile frame, there to greet us in her home as they were mourning the loss of her husband, their Father and her son.

You see we had not the time to make these additional stops...."Man Plans, But God Decides" and I am so grateful that the Lord made the decision to alter my plans and lead me to this hurting family.

It was an honor to embrace them as My Mother was once embraced 27 years prior as she too was hurting and mourning the loss of her son, my brother, as I too, stood there, the man of the house, welcoming people into our home in order for them to pay their respects.

The Laws of Reciprocity dictated exactly where I needed to be, whom I needed to be with and my participation in the moment that could possibly positively alter or define someone else's Life at the crossroads, a point in their lives where such an impact needed to be made.

And there Jesus was, directing my path, to fulfil His purpose, by using my experience to demonstrate Love and compassion to a family that just lost so much in one fell swoop. This beautiful family has forever changed my Life and I shall always remember them, Pray for them and hold them near and dear to my heart, with every beat.

Such a strong woman sitting there mourning her son, cracking a Smile, shedding some tears, talking with me and allowing me to capture her likeness in all of her Motherly Glory. And if you know not the strength of a Mother's Love, it would behoove you to become "better" acquainted with it because it is very real, it never dies and it forever sustains you, bridging the gap in your absence by reminding those left behind of your presence.

And here she is, his Mother.

Beauty may indeed be in the eye of the beholder, but be extremely cautious about how you judge something that looks different on the outside. For you never know what could be contained beyond the exterior that winds up beautifully accentuating what you once viewed and judged because of its external attributes.

The exterior may indeed be a defense mechanism to ward off the things that are not worthy of the beauty contained within due to superficial judgement.

So, when you view what you see, look beyond and within in order to appreciate all that it has to offer. You never know what you might be missing out on.

"Plotting My Path"

Not necessarily the path of least resistance, but if the fruit is out on the limb, then the limb is where you shall find me.

I know my purpose, I feel my passion and I dwell, reside and act upon it just as I have been purposed to do.

That road that I travel upon, gravel or paved, is the path that represents the past in the form of what is now before me by way of the present and ultimate future.

I live to give and deplete my resources so that the Lord can replenish to allow me to deplete yet again, by way of living and giving.

I author my Life and publish my experiences in order to encourage others to rise and exercise the passion within the purpose in which they live.

Arms stretched wide, ready to embrace what is to embrace me in accordance to the path that the Lord has set for me.

Some of these things, some of the people and even the places that I would not have otherwise come in contact with have all contributed to the construction of my Life's path.

I abandoned the naivete of my 20's, departed the experience riddled 30's and now embrace the revealed brilliance of my 40's. New beginnings draw closure to old endings, that give way to even newer beginnings.

Blessed, I have been chosen to witness a new decade within my Lifetime and to partake in the next chapter of a Life that did not have to be, but glory be!

The promises for the future have already come to fruition since just yesterday is a representation of a past that now resides behind me.

"One"

Traveling down the Singaporean highway as we made our way to the train station in route to Malaysia, I could see an overhead commuter rail with a single car making a stop to pick up passengers. It looked kind of funny seeing this single car, but the single car in question had a very specific Purpose and task at hand.

That very specific Purpose was to travel to remote residential areas and pick up passengers and transport them back to the main, non-remote areas by connecting itself to the rest of the commuter rail cars in an effort to get everyone where they needed to go so that they can do whatever it is that they needed to do.

I instantly conjured up thoughts of the Lord as He has made His way and continues to make His way to wherever we are so that He can do whatever it is that He needs to do or whatever it is that He needs for US to do.

The method and mode of transportation or the dissemination of the information is irrelevant, so long as the message has been conveyed and all of the participants are on board for a destination whose itinerary may not be their own, but one that they subscribe to nonetheless, selflessly.

In everything that I see,
In everything that I do,
In everything that I happen upon,
My goal is to see God, in everything.

"Love And Understanding"

The importance of family is an acknowledgement from the heart of what is a continuous priority that never loses its place in Life.

Once upon a time the importance of such was a lost notion due to the people that called themselves family members. But Life is not about who or what happens to us, rather it is how we respond to who and what happens to us.

Life is no accident that we found ourselves in. Life is something to be grateful and Thankful for as we continue down a path of growth and understanding that allows us to take who and what happens to us and transform the who and what to "Love and Understanding" as we plant the seeds of such within them, watering them with our actions, thus contributing to a harvest that used to be consumed with drought.

The power of our Love coupled with an Understanding can bring about a change to be denied by no one or nothing that bares witness to the very change that has thus changed them.

Sometimes the need for change falls on deaf ears, but as soon as we avail ourselves, we then begin to find ourselves with visibility into the bigger scheme of things. Subsequently, our participation with what we perceived to be "inaction" that was directed by our "action," further demonstrating to the "who and what" the power of "Love and Understanding" and what it is capable of accomplishing, within the vacancy of our availability.

You are where you are because you are supposed to be there.

"Purpose"

My Life's purpose might not add up to your Life's purpose. And if you were to subtract my Life's purpose from your Life's purpose, one thing shall always remain the same.

I have found it better to be DRIVEN than to just go along for the RIDE.

I have been moved by the presence of the immovable.

I have been fed by people that have the least in which to offer.

I have gained wisdom in the most ignorant of situations.

I have found what I sought even before I began to seek.

Everything and everyone has its designated purpose. And our purpose in Life is to find out what our purpose in Life really is and then to do something about it, by way of our defined "Purpose."

"It's Gonna Be Me"

From a very young age Mother always encouraged me to be sure to close the one door prior to opening up the next. It was important to negate the inevitable overlap by firm closure of the previous.

This philosophical rule of thumb is completely applicable to so many, if not all aspects in Life.

It is tempting to leave the door cracked, albeit even slightly, just in case. The ambiguity of the "just in case" compels us to do the unthinkable and even act uncharacteristically due to the fact that closure is not just represented in the physical form of the door, but also in the mental, psychological and emotional forms within ourselves.

Sometimes the reciprocal approach to the "just in case" theory provides us with a very false sense of hope in that a reconciliation can be accomplished.

For the sake of our own sanity, we need to take the bull by the horns and draw a conclusion to the madness that permeates around our existence by allowing the lingering to continue to linger.

The emotional toll that it can take on you is painstakingly exhausting and not worthy of you expending your time and positive energy on. Your time is yours, whilst you still have it. The depletion of your energy is worthy of replenishing, not diminishing.

In order for the new to begin, the old has to be completed. Do not wait for someone else to officially draw a conclusion to what needs to be closed. Sometimes the onus is squarely on our own shoulders.

At that point we need to tell ourselves, "It's Gonna Be Me."

"If My Former Change Could See My Latter Change, It Would Want to Change Too"

A personal testimony, to the miraculous ways, in which the Lord God, changes things.

When you have been changed, the very winds move in your favor and flow in the direction in which you move so that you no longer travel in a direction that is contrary to your purposed selection.

You cannot go back from whence you came because it no longer represents the old, that you were so bold, to shed.

The type of change that has you looking forward and never looking back, as the winds of change are literally, at your back.

The type of forward progression that leans into God's perfection that He has been waiting for you, to step into.
No longer ignorant to the fact that God's Love is due diligent and never leaves you without the chance to Praise and repent.

The type of change that makes change want to change because change has seen a change in you.

The type of change that compels others to seek what you have because they see what He has done for you, by way of change.

The type of change that speaks for itself, relinquishing the need to utter a single syllable, as the Love and power of God is more than hospitable.

The type of change that introduces me to additional change, relative to what I initially changed from.

As I exited the vehicle, I thanked him for the great conversation and the sharing of information. In such a relatively short period of time this gentleman added value to my Life instead of attempting to subtract said value.

We exchanged numbers and I wished he and his family the absolute best as he did me!

"Returning Them Back by Way of Praise"

Oft times we find ourselves labeling the things that we own in the event that if they are ever lost, if and when they are ever found, they can be returned to their rightful owner.

Blessings are items that have the name of the Lord permanently affixed to them. So, when we "find" ourselves in the possession of said "Blessings," we should promptly return them back to their rightful owner, right? We accomplish this task by taking those Blessings and "Returning Them Back by Way of Praise."

Even though the name of the Lord is permanently affixed as the owner of the Blessings, we are fortunate enough to be and live in the presence of a God that is full of Love, compassion and His willingness to give to those that He so Loves.

What He rightfully owns, we undeservedly receive due to His Love and compassion. Which ultimately begs the question: do we really own the things that we are labeling to begin with? Or are those the very Blessings with that permanent name that is affixed to them?

"Returning Them Back by Way of Praise."

Perhaps there was no mistaking the inability to retrieve what was perceived to be lost or stolen. The Life expectancy of that Blessing could have very well run its course and is now in the sole possession of someone else. Remember, what He rightfully owns, we undeservedly receive, due to His Love and compassion.

He gives and He takes away. But, it was never ours to begin with. His name and ONLY His name is what is permanently affixed to the Blessings that we find ourselves in possession of..."Returning Them Back by Way of Praise."

So, when we find ourselves in the possession of said Blessings, we should all remember and demonstrate the process of "Returning Them Back by Way of Praise." Afterall, He is the rightful owner.

We pull ourselves out by first picking ourselves up as we make the better truly better by proclaiming it in capitalized and emphasized LETTERS, succeeded by our actions that marvel in the revelation that things are indeed, BETTER!

"Compassion and Forgiveness"

The whereabouts of your heart, mind, body and soul could very well have been permanently cast aside or banished from the existence of someone's Loving thoughts as they recollect on the impacts of their Life and how you might have played a role: good, bad and otherwise.

Do not permit an uncompassionate and unforgiving heart to dictate how you leave or your refusal to leave your mark on Life and in this world. We experience everything that we "grow" through for a reason and irrespective of what happens to us, there is always an opportunity within our midst to do or say something by converting whatever happened into a testimony of the heart in an effort to touch someone else's heart by way of "Compassion and Forgiveness."

Allow it to linger shorter than the letters that compose the word itself.

Be "Compassionate and Forgiving" so that you can effectively move forward with the rest of your Life, doing all that your Life and existence were purposed to do.

Do not refuse to be compassionate. Do not refuse to be forgiving.

What we learn can be converted into something that someone else could earn.

There is no greater freedom than the liberating feeling that is composed by the acts and actions of Love. The inward reflection, the outward collection, all navigated by Love's uncompromising direction, should we be so inclined to trust and follow those liberating feelings that have introduced themselves to us, forever altering our comfort zone.

In our quest to achieve greatness, we attempt to accomplish great things. But the greatest accomplishment is not in what we achieve, rather it is in how we live our lives.

Likewise. Should you never obtain fame and fortune, it does not mean that you have not left an indelible mark whose longevity will surpass the short-sightedness of said fame and fortune, if that was the sole purpose and ultimate end result of what you sought.

Whether you choose to author your history with a pen or a pencil, it does not negate the fact that you have left your mark. It just means that you used one instead of the other, for whatever reason.

Steve Jobs, "A Change that Starts with Me"

Steve Jobs was an incredible man, an impeccable visionary and an amazing human being. Humility seeped from his pores as he changed the landscape of how we live our lives and how we interact with each other within our lives.

As the outpouring of Love, admiration and respect came thundering in, it instantly reminded me of the same type of adoration that followed another release from this great visionary, when all you had to do was tune in or walk by the throngs that were in line to consume not only a pretty cool, sleek looking gadget or device, but an investment in a brand that instantly put you in mind of circular frames, a mock turtleneck, jeans and sneakers.

You know sometimes we do not like what we are in receipt of because of the way that "he or she" is packaged. But someone like Steve Jobs blew that shortsightedness right out of the water!

With everything that Mr. Steve Jobs accomplished, he left us with yet another indelible gem. As you witness the outpouring of Love, admiration and respect, pay very close attention to the humility that exuded from such a pioneer who was well aware of his contributions to Life. And within every instance in Life, he demonstrated the existence of opportunity.

The passing of Mr. Steve Jobs made me personally realize the opportunity to do and be something in Life that would garner the same type of all around Love, not because of "me" but because of the contributions to Life that come "through" me. And if the type of Life that I lead is not on the right track or the correct path that would yield such results, then it is time for change. "A Change that Starts with Me."

When faced with adversity, adversity is faced with my Faith and the realization that within the revelation of the ensuing chain of events, no link is weaker than the next, therefore subsequent words and actions befall the same fate, by way of the demonstrated Faith within the text.

Christ allows me to be weakened, so that HE can make me strong, in HIM! If HIS strength or my strength THROUGH HIM are representative of said weakest link, then such a link fails to exist within the realm of man's possibility by way of adversity, in the transparent and brilliant presence of Christ's infinite abilities.

"Positively True, Negatively False"

Negativity spikes my motivational drive to ascend to higher heights doing the complete opposite of the direct intentions of negativity's first and only thoughts.

Negativity has no space nor place in the presence of positivity.

Negativity will always be dressed up with absolutely nowhere to go, hence its blatant and obvious nomadic existence.

Positivity implores the ones that are so inclined to do the right thing, even if the right thing means taking an "L" by way of popular opinion or general consensus.

Positivity is the leader that negativity habitually follows trying to mimic the genuine authenticity of positivity's actions in an attempt to negatively influence positivity.

Negativity might be dressed up as such, but positivity knows exactly where it is going.

Positivity does not follow negativity!

Negativity will always be lost trying to follow and keep up with the genuiness and Loving affection of positivity.

Positivity needs not explain itself, while that is all negativity ever does.

"What Matters Most"

I remember being a young lad trying so hard to figure out word problems. Within those very word problems were "additional" verbiage that neither added nor subtracted any viable value to the word problem itself. By design, its intentions were to intentionally throw you off and distract you from solving the problem itself.

Although the distraction within the word problem was not meant to permanently distract you, rather to build within you a better, sturdier resistance to the "additional" things that would have you believe that "they or it" offer value to a situation when in all actuality, they offer anything but.

Be not distracted by peripheral things that shall always remain on the perimeter, to never occupy the nucleus and centerpiece of you.

The heart of the matter shall always be "What Matters Most," nothing else.

"Crossing the Serengeti"

Every year the incredible Wildebeest migration crossing the Serengeti's treacherous Mara River is a spectacle in which to behold. An enormous amount of zebras and gazelles accompany the Wildebeest on this biannual pilgrimage as they migrate in search of optimum grazing in the form of rain ripened grass and drinking water to accommodate the size of the migrating participants into Kenya's Masai Mara.

If you have ever watched it unfold, you can FEEL the enormity of the migration and can appreciate the magnitude of the determination of the animals to take this journey, irrespective of the anonymous predators along the way that are patiently lying in wait for their suspecting, not unsuspecting, prey. But they forge ahead anyway, for what awaits them is not as important as the journey that they need to take, the one in which they shall make despite what is hidden along the path.

The things that we stand to learn once we tune in to something that can actually educate us, thus adding value to our equation, identity and composition.

The willingness to understand that the journey that we all travel upon may not be physically located in the Serengeti, but the things that await us are never more important than the journey itself.

The predators are actually not so anonymous, due to the rather simple fact that the prey already suspects their presence in the midst, to begin with.

But in order to get to what has already been purposed for you, sometimes we have to travel through our own versions of the Mara River, in our own personal Serengeti, to our very own Masai Mara.

Tuned in to our pilgrimage, whatever awaits us along our journey is designed to reach us where we are and to teach us where we need to be.

You do not need to become a predator in order to prevent falling prey. You just need to outwit your predator and live to see another day.

Something that I learned as I tuned in to witness Life, as it was "Crossing the Serengeti."

"The Right Punctuation to My Story"

As I draw closer to the realization of my destiny, I am overwhelmed with emotion, feeling the presence of God in everything that I do. Once upon a time, I overlooked His presence and thought that He was absent. But it was "I" and my negligence that overlooked His presence and thought that He was absent.

Compassion is what has been extended to me to afford me a better view of said destiny, with the knowledge that everything that has ever surrounded me has subsequently groomed me, "To Be."

Irrespective of who or what it was, certain things were and are allowed to happen, thus strengthening and equipping me with the future wherewithal to recognize them, align my defense mechanism in the form of additional Prayer and turning them over to my source of strength and protection, so that He may deal with them and/or it accordingly.

Growth has never been an option for Corey. It has always been a rudimentary necessity that has coupled itself with the fundamentals that compose themselves over the instrumental tracks to my Life.

I thank my Savior for saving me when "I" neglected me.

I thank my Savior for directing me when "I" lost me and my way.

I thank my Savior for Loving me, thus showing me the importance of Loving other than me.

I thank my Savior for forgiving me, thus showing me the importance of forgiving other than me.

I thank my Savior for all that has happened in my Life, permitted or otherwise, that has groomed me to be all of what my destiny has in store for me.

Believe not my words if my actions are in absentia. For you will always see what I have done before you have heard about what I have done. I seek not the glory, just "The Right Punctuation to My Story."

"My Tie"

Some days I match up "My Tie" with my shirt and think to myself, "YES! You've never matched this pair up before. Its gonna look GOOD!" And then I step outside into the natural light only to find out that what looked good inside does not necessarily look good outside...of the natural light.

Sometimes we hit the nail right on top of its head and other times, we simply miss.

Whenever I used to step out into the natural light to find out that "I will definitely be ticketed by the fashion police today," I used to hurry back indoors to correct my fashion faux pas. Well, that was then...

And now when I step out into the natural light and think that I might possibly be re-ticketed, I continue on my way with the thought of perfection getting farther and farther away as I gravitate towards what awaits me for that day.

You see it matters not what I look like. It matters what my heart acts like.

Once I commit myself to the exterior of my residence, I now understand that some days I will feel how I look and other days I will look how I feel. In other words, some days are better than others, but they are days that we have been Blessed to bare witness to, nonetheless. And subsequently, we have yet another opportunity...

So, as I matched up "My Tie" today, I allowed my heart to lead the way, irrespective of the ticket that I may or may not receive, so long as what I do is pleasing in His eyes and not that of the one administering the tickets.

Afterall, they have a certain quota to meet, so how relevant are the things that emanate from their lips in the form of their opinions? "His" opinion is what we should all be concerned with.

Pardon me, I need to fix "My Tie."

"Clarity"

Oft times it behooves you to offer and provide "Clarity" to what some might deem ambiguous or something that might be perceived as "relative to you." Well, this is one of those times.

You see as a writer, I am always in search of inspiration so that I may otherwise turn right back around and inspire someone else that might "growing" through some things in their Life.

But in order to BE an inspiration, sometimes you need to absorb what is going on so that you can adequately translate that information to others in the form of inspiration.

As I listen to, take in and absorb stories that so many people are "growing through," it is quite humbling to hear and become acquainted with a plethora of stories that have nothing to do with you directly, but ultimately wind up impacting your Life indirectly and sometimes directly, due to the nature of their relationship with you. This could be a neighbor, a co-worker, a friend, a family member, or anyone of the sort.

But, you see therein the seeds of ambiguity can be found, if the watering of information do not sprout the perceived results. It can be quite tricky if one is to believe that everything ever written is personal to or relative to, the writer. In my case, that is not the case.

God is good and has been better to me than I have been to myself. But, that is God, so surprised I am not. I know what my Life’s purpose is and I “purposely” live within those parameters so as to use what I believe to be my gift to positively influence the lives of others. But, you see, not everyone is living on easy street. Not everyone is happy. Not everyone is in Love. And everyone is not doing ok, hence the varied subjects that I address within my Blogs.

It pains my heart to know that so many people are hurt, hurting and have not the faintest clue as to what to do or where to go. Rev. Run once said that, “hurt people, hurt people.” I recognize those people because I was once one of them. Shame on me if I were to recognize the hurt in people, and do nothing with it by way of my gift, as a conduit to something better, irrespective of what they might be “growing through.”

Within my Blogs and the things that I write about, there is a lot of Love, a lot of hope, a lot of God, a lot of promise, a lot of truth and a lot of anything else that you can think of. Kind of like looking out of your window, walking around in the mall, canvassing the lawn at your favorite outdoor concert venue, in Church or even within your own home. Marinate on that for a minute.

God knows that I wish that I could write about happiness all of the time because that is what I encountered all of the time. But that is not the case. And even though that is not the case, there is always a silver lining in every cloud. And that is something that I have made numerous references to throughout my Blogs. My purpose is to inspire others to subscribe to something better.

I used to have a British Literature teacher that once publicly professed her belief that she thought “there was such thing as a stupid question.” I begged to differ then and many years later, I still do. If you do not know, then simply ask. God is good and God knows that Corey doesn’t know it all. But I ask God for “Clarity” to avoid the temptation of “leaning on my own understanding” when I should actually “lean NOT on my own understanding.”

I am so humbled, honored and Blessed to have more readers of “All the Best, All the Time” than I will probably ever know. Personally, I do not believe in coincidences and I am privileged at this opportunity to be able to offer and provide “Clarity” to what some might deem as ambiguous or something that might be perceived as "relative to you,” in this case me, Corey.

I live a very transparent Life. People will not be surprised at what they find out about me. My guardian angel, My Mother is watching over my every move and I shall disappoint her not. Speaking of which, please allow me to share some of that transparency with you. “For Once In My Life: A Mother’s Love: Ramona’s Story of Inspiration” is the book that I have written that honors the woman that has always been my source of inspiration throughout my Life and even in her passing. More to come on Mother’s book...Smile.

I have been afforded things in my Life that I could not have been able to otherwise afford and I am grateful for said things. The same things that I shall always be willing to impart to others that might be hurting. One day they too will recognize someone else is hurting because Rev. Run was right when he said that “hurt people, hurt people.” They too will be compelled and inspired to make a difference the same exact way that a difference was made in their lives. Is God not the greatest! No question mark needed, since that was not a question at all.

In closing, as my many “All the Best, All the Time” readers tune in to read my Blogs, I implore you to think bigger than big and realize that there is a bigger than big difference in playing chess as opposed to simply playing checkers. I used to be a checker player when I tried to live this Life without God. But Glory be to God, that I am now learning to play and getting better at playing Chess.

Do not ever be afraid to engage someone if the Spirit so moves you to do so. If it is not “Clarity” that you may need, it may be “support” that they need. Remember, I do not believe in coincidences. I believe that everything happens for a reason and that silver lining shall be revealed as soon as we make the effort to dispel the silliness of there being such a thing as a stupid question. If you don’t know, who or what is really stupid? The question or you for not asking the question? And THAT is why, I do not support the notion that such a question exists. Just simply ask and worry not about who else might already know the answer because if you do not know the answer, then that is one person too many.
