Clamoring for everything within your grasp doesn't take you higher or make you wiser. It makes you greedy!
Oft times we operate under the guise that more is better and that unless we have more, we have not officially arrived.
More is only more in the aspects of Excellence or Wisdom. The tangible items that we obtain are all temporal. It is not until we have accelerated within our relationship with Jesus Christ, that we start to become who we have been Purposed to become, by way of His Design, and not through our achievements or things that we have obtained along the way.
Simplicity confuses neediness. Simplicity does not make room for greediness. Truly, "Less Is More." The less we have, the smaller the margin for confusion and chaos, which The Lord does not author. For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord's people. (1 Corinthians 14:33 NIV)
Truly, the unruliness of the unholiness is everything that we should NOT strive for. All of our needs will be provided by God. Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? (Matthew 6:26 NIV)
Seek to understand the value that God has placed on your Life, way before you ever knew you actually had a Life. You are defined by that and not the tangibles of a temporal world that will one day pass away.
Seek Him in those Holy places by preparing yourself to Inherit His vast riches and wealth, the kind that will not pass away, but last for all eternity.
Savor not the spoils of the corrupt. They in turn will corrupt you.
Savor for less and allow God to provide your "more."
Truly, "Less Is More."
Heavenly Father.
King Jesus.
Holy Spirit.
Smile.
Love.
Always.
And Still.
