"Basic Training"

Everything that I have ever been through has served as my "Basic Training" in order to become a Master Skilled Fighter and Leader in the Lord's Army. Oft times the training wasn't fun, but a necessary component in order to become the effective Leader that the Lord requires of me. The greater the attacks, the more skilled of a fighter and Leader that has been molded. Prior to the "Basic Training," I can see the clear difference in the before and after. The contrast is unmistakable at least and all the difference in the world at best.

Worldly leaders may be born into their positions. However, Leaders within the Lord's growing army are created by fire. Inheriting ones position without being on the battlefield and going through the "Basic Training," inadequately prepares someone to effectively Lead and Serve. Your Testimony becomes your Legacy that is to the Glory of God, when you have been sharpened by iron, to become the iron that will be used in which to sharpen other iron. As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭27‬:‭17‬ NIV)

When you have been chosen by God to Serve, the rigors of the "Basic Training" prove to be formidable. However, when He chooses you, no one can unchoose you. You have been selected, irrespective of your qualifications. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. (‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭30‬ NIV)

You will survive the "Basic Training" because the Purpose of God is Greater than anything that comes up against you. In all actuality, the presence of the opposition is meant to train you up in the art of war. It compels us to Trust in the Lord with everything that we have, in everything that is us, in Him alone.

Real Life simulation is created during your "Basic Training." The on-the-job training that those of us must endure, will come in the form of salacious allegations, character assassinations, attempts at public humiliation, erroneous castigation and even deplorable subjugation. HOWEVER, it is not what they do TO you. It is actually what they wind up doing FOR you!

Be grateful that you have been chosen to suffer like Christ. He called you. Therefore, He adores you. No one will ever be able to call you the same way. And you will never respond to being called the old way.

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

Thank You Heavenly Father for calling my name, training me up and allowing me the privilege to Serve You as a Leader in Your Army, in Your Kingdom. To God Be the Wonderfully Awesome Glory!!!

I passed my "Basic Training!"

Heavenly Father.

King Jesus.

Holy Spirit.

Smile.

Love.

Always.

And Still.
