The innermost difficult of struggles pertains to separating yourself from those that have historically been closest to you. Your Heart does not desire to leave them behind. However, the Will of God oft times compels you to leave behind who and what were not meant to go with you. The key is knowing the difference in whether or not they are supposed to go with you or not. Resistance to the Will of God, is not an indication that they have their tickets stamped for the journey that you are destined to travel upon. At that point in time, you have a decision to make. You either "Please Man or Please God."
Do not be fooled into thinking that you can do both. It is not possible! Although we "can do all things through Christ" (Philippians 4:13), everyone has not been Purposed to do them with us, for Christ.
We each have a path to take in Life and riding shotgun on someone else's path negates traveling that of your own. Reciprocally, allowing someone else to ride shotgun on your path, negates that of their own as well. If either were meant to be, then they shall be, according to the Will of God.
Use this time to Pray for Wisdom, Discernment and Courage, so that you can come to know all that you will be required to know, differentiating between the two, and to then do something about it.
Man's salvation is not contingent upon another carnal man seeking a similar or same salvation. As a matter of fact, they are as different, as "Pleasing Man or Pleasing God."
Trust in what God, through the Holy Spirit, has and continues to communicate to and through you. Compromise not, nor negotiate what your ears have heard and what your Heart has received. If it is from God, you will know, and then you will know exactly what to do. Forget your feelings, for they often do not align with what God has in store, His Ultimate Plans, for you and I. It might be hard to do at first. However, we CAN do everything through Christ, who gives us strength. (Philippians 4:13)
In all that you say and do, you will either "Please Man or Please God."
