"Love's Address"

Just imagine being able to punch up L-O-V-E in your GPS and an actual route accompanied with step by step directions and an aerial map appear to guide you on your way. Oh, if it was that easy, automobile or not, we would all be walking around with pocket versions of any type of GPS that had such a functionality.

But back to reality and even though such a possibility is not within the realm of technology, you have to remember that Love was here FIRST and shall remain long after the demise of anyone that has ever laid claim to it.

We have been practicing the "Love rendition" all wrong. We need not look for Love at all, we only need to look within to find our way to the Love that the GPS "device" has no functionality to support.

Love does not reside at any physical location, but resides within the hearts of the person or people that take up residence in any location or situation.

"Love's Address"...is your heart!

Wherever your heart or the Global Positioning of your Soul (GPS), so is L-O-V-E. You are Love and how you give and receive Love is not specific to any geographic space nor demographic face, but how your heart speaks the language of Love to another heart that is so inclined to speak the same language.

Who does your heart SPEAK to?

Who does your heart LISTEN to?

You cannot GIVE Love without RECEIVING Love.

You cannot RECEIVE Love without GIVING Love.

You can try either one of the above-mentioned scenarios, but Love requires the presence of Love before Love makes the determination to FIRST show up. Otherwise, it will not work!

If you are sending Love, make sure that the return address is also Love.

If you have intentions on defrauding Love and misrepresenting what Love is all about, your transparent efforts will all be for naught. The only thing that Love knows how to do is Love.

So, pardon, as I enter L-O-V-E into my GPS, the Global Positioning of my Soul, where "Love's Address" resides, within me!

"There Will Always Be Room..."

Both good and bad relationships alike yield lessons learned. More often than not, what was learned will not be felt in its entirety until you have been entirely removed from the situation.

Oft times we do not realize how bad or how good a relationship was until we are no longer IN it or a part OF it. The view is much different when you are on the outside looking in as opposed to being on the inside trying to find your way around.

Each of the aforementioned give way to the fact that there is always room for improvement, even when the relationship was good. Good does not equate to perfect and as long as perfection has not been achieved, "There Will Always Be Room..."

All of the things that you did right as well as all of the things that you did wrong, including everything in between, have taught us that there was still more to see and do for the ones whose hearts were meant to be true.

If you have ever broken a heart, go mend it. Not necessarily for the sake of reconciliation, but because it is the right thing to do. "There Will Always Be Room..."

If your heart has ever been broken, allow the healing process to commence. Not necessarily to afford the offender a "do-over," but so that you can move on with YOUR Life. "There Will Always Be Room..."

If you have ever NOT lived up to your potential in a relationship, revisit those lessons learned and document your own notes with respect to what was done and said up to and INCLUDING what YOU did or said. "There Will Always Be Room..."

Relationships tell us a LOT about ourselves, sometimes more than what we might care to or might want to actually know. How we conduct ourselves in the midst of adversity speak to the longevity or lack thereof and the consistency of either road in which we travel.

I am humbled by what I have learned about myself throughout the course of my relationships. I am also proud of the fact that the experience OF, is now my testimony TO, Love.

Now that I have been entirely removed from the entirety of the situation, I can now attest to the lessons learned that both good and bad relationships alike yield.

When it comes to improvement, "There Will Always Be Room..."

"Imitation IS the Best Form of Flattery"

Still do not believe that GOD is "WITH You" (http://allthebestallthetime.blogspot.com/2010/06/with-you.html)?

Through every crisis I have ever encountered, I have also experienced counter measures that aligned my path and bordered the shadows of my presence, even in broad daylight.

Had I not been covered, had you not been covered, it is safe to say that we would not be here, nor there or anywhere for that matter.

We question our purpose only for the simple fact that we are unaware or naïve to what our purpose actually is. Have you ever asked GOD for wisdom and understanding with respect to the role that you play? Well...why not? Seek and ye shall find. Ask me how I know.

I would never encourage someone to "question" GOD, but I would implore someone to seek out the knowledge and understanding that would catapult someone's foundation, by allowing someone to build upon that foundation, not only rising to the occasion, but raising the infrastructure to unprecedented levels, coupled with immeasurable success.

GOD Loves you!

It is time to start Loving yourself, just a fraction of what HE already does. Our level of Love may not ever reach the levels of HIS Love, but "Imitation IS the Best Form of Flattery."

"WITH You"

If you are reading this right now then the LORD has given you another day, another opportunity and another Blessing to walk amongst the living and to be everything that you are destined and purposed to be in Life, YOUR Life!

I know way too many people right now that are GROWING through some issues and problems of both the personal and professional nature, up to and including myself. But what is most important and what we need to remember is that we are HERE for a REASON!

GOD has planned HIS work and HE is working HIS plan. And guess what? YOU'RE INCLUDED!!

If they try to tell you that you are not, it is only due to the fact that they are uncertain about their own, themselves.

But make no mistake about the sheer passion of the LORD and how much HE Loves you and is able and willing to do what needs to be done to provide you what you need, when you need it, even when your realization of such is non-existent. Who ELSE can give you what you need even when you don't even know what it IS that you need?

Glory Be To GOD!

Your fate is not determined by the jealousy, mediocrity and stupidity of others. But the moment that you start believing it, then it is! Hold fast in your belief that GOD is fighting on your behalf and that HE will boomerang those thoughts and exercises in futility back to their origins, without even grazing you.

When GOD is on your side, that semi-automatic venom that is spat your way is ultimately equivalent to spitting in the wind. And to the perpetrators of such, no it is not drizzling, but the calm before the storm that I will stand right in the middle of as I bare witness to your feeble attempts to contest My Father!

I struggle "WITH You."

I Praise "WITH You."

"Thank You For Being My Daddy"

I do not believe that a man should solely verbalize his intentions but rather allow his very actions to speak for themselves.

When it is all said and done, it will not be what you "intended" to do but what you actually "accomplished" while you had the chance and your opportunity here in which to do so.

With that said, I am humbled that I have the wherewithal to know and act upon the differences between "intentions" and "accomplishments."

Mind you, from a definition perspective, no "clarification" is needed. But during Life and the subsequent "application" process, the difference between the two needs to be solidified in stone and substantiated through the actions of your heart.

I Love my children with every ounce of my being after GOD has replenished me upon the completion of the depletion of the Love that I have for GOD. In other words, GOD comes first!

And then one day HE so chose to Bless me to do something and to be someone that at the time only HE could have known I would be able to effectively do. HE knew that I could be a Dad. HE knew that I could be a Father. And everyday my children remind me of HIS Blessing of such an opportunity and privilege that HE bestowed upon the likes of me.

On the morning of Father's Day, my precious little Princess looked at me and allowed words to roll off of her tongue as if she really meant them, with conviction and Love in her heart and mind and as children so often do, catching me totally off guard. On Father's Day my daughter told me: "Thank You For Being My Daddy" and walked away.

As she left I wanted to say, "hold on, don't you want to talk about this?"

It doesn't get any better than that!

How could she possibly thank ME without me turning right around and thanking HIM? If you are not learning from children, respectfully, you are not paying attention.

My "intentions" are to be a great Father! And upon the completion of my last breath, I know that I will have "accomplished" just that because I plan on leaving everything, taking nothing and surrendering it ALL!

My daughter thanked ME for being someone and doing something that I never thought that I would be or could do. But HE knew!

It is a privilege to be a Father.

It is a privilege to be a Dad.

It is a Blessing to be able to experience them both within your Lifetime.

Before the completion of your last breath, leave everything, take nothing and surrender it ALL!

The pleasure is mine Princess! It is both an honor and a privilege, so thank YOU for allowing me to be your Daddy.

"400th"

GOD has Blessed me more than the human mind can begin to fathom. HE has been generous to Corey with HIS time, wisdom, knowledge and understanding.

Although it has not been easy and far from painless, I have arrived by way of GOD's "awesome" Grace and Mercy.

I have lost SO much, but in turn have gained even MORE. It makes no sense to complain, when the takeaways have been far less than the gains. You could not have uttered those very words to me in the midst of it all, but the truth be known, that is exactly why I stand so strong and tall. "Whatever doesn't kill you, does indeed make you STRONGER!" Ask me how I know!

I knew not HIS plans for me, but I chose to "listen" to HIM and GO!

I knew not the direction of HIS path for me, but I chose to head that way ANYWAY!

Life is chalk full of choices and with every sunrise that we are so Blessed to bare witness to, we are afforded the opportunity for what my children refer to as "do-overs."

GOD has not forgotten about us. HE knows WHERE we are, WHO we are with and WHAT we are doing! Do "YOU" know WHERE you are, WHO you are with and WHAT you are doing? If not, then you should take the time, make the time, in order to find out!

Once upon a time I knew not the answers to those very questions myself. But what they say is true indeed: "a closed mouth, does not get fed." And chances are the intensity of the hunger pains have not been elevated HIGH enough for you to reach FAR enough. But they will. Just live a little longer.

I never knew that GOD would use Corey in such a capacity, to speak through, to reach, to listen to, to advocate for, to Smile on behalf of, to be an instrument for, all whom would so subscribe to something better, in the true sense of having "All the Best, All the Time!"

I knew not HIS plans for me, but I knew GOD!

I knew not the direction of HIS path for me, but I knew GOD!

And here I stand, 400 Blogs in, humbled by the manner and capacity that the LORD GOD so chose to use me to glorify "HIM." To give "HIM" the honor and Praise that "HE" so deserves by way of authoring testimonies and stories alike that are honest in their interpretations and 1000% free of any self-righteous embellishment TO or FOR Corey.

I Pray that as I celebrate this "400th," that I am only scratching the surface with respect to what is in store and how HE shall choose to use Corey going forward.

I implore you to "avail yourself" so that you can stretch your potential to the far reaches of HIS creation and everything in between.

I Promise that once you receive the absolute best, never again shall you settle for less, by choice nor circumstance.

"OF Your Life"

GOD wants us to be good stewards over the many Blessings that HE has bestowed. It is incumbent upon us, with extreme reverence, to take care of the things that HE has already provisioned and taken care of HIMself.

There always has and there always will be the types of energies, in the form of people, places and things, that attempt to vacuum those Blessings up in a contained effort as opposed to just realizing what THEIR very own Blessings in Life are.

We always want what we want, yet oft times we actually do not even know what that WANT is. But, we still want it, we seek it out, and too much of the time it is at the expense of others.

Our stewardship is not just limited to watching over our Blessings, but protecting them as well. Sometimes this will lead us to make some difficult, yet necessary choices within our lives.

The difficult aspects are relative to the "perceived" emotional attachments that have been birthed and nourished along the way. Momma always told me, "Corey, everything that is good TO you, is not good FOR you." Food for thought? Well, come fix your plate and have a seat at the table.

Do not extend yourself to the detriment OF yourself.

Do not allow someone's presence IN your Life to be a contradiction "OF Your Life."

As the Blessings are nourished, they shall continue to flourish.

The gift of Life is a Blessing bestowed.

Therefore, be good stewards "OF Your Life."

Yet again, I find myself thanking YOU Mother! My Life made better because "OF Your Life."

"Laid Your Burdens Down"

They say that there is a catch to everything. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. There always seems to be a caveat when someone is explaining something or delivering anything your way.

We really shouldn't be surprised at this fact since it actually starts with GOD. There is nothing that HE cannot do, there is nothing that HE will not do for us and on our behalf. But there is indeed a caveat.

I have both witnessed and been the recipient of many Blessings, only after submitting myself unto Thee, relinquishing my actions and rendering them actionless when HE is in the midst. Oh, that caveat...

It is admirable in concept, yet deplorable in reality, to think that we can actually help GOD "get the heavy stuff" (http://allthebestallthetime.blogspot.com/2009/01/are-you-going-to-get-heavy-stuff.html) out of our directional paths in Life. HE can and most certainly will. But there is indeed that caveat.

In this very instance, the definition of pride seeks refuge outside of my mind and body as I heroically bare witness to the ease in which HE moves all that I need to be moved and reveals all that I need to be revealed. But there is indeed a caveat.

I dare you to turn around, after having "Laid Your Burdens Down." And if I was a gambling man, I would be willing to bet that you would not find them there, where you left them anymore.

So, the caveat is simple.

Just "let go and let GOD."

No bartering, no bargaining and no begging. After you have released them completely and in their entirety, physically, emotionally, mentally, psychologically AND Spiritually, just let go and I dare you to simply turn around.

No, I am not a gambling man, but if I were, how much would you owe me? Smile and let go!

"Although...Each and Every Day"

Although each day brings about new challenges and obstacles to overcome, it also affords us new opportunities to try to accomplish what we might have previously failed at, adding the twist of a new day, renewed strength and energy, to do better than what we could have, the first time around.

Although the agenda of each new day is ultimately unknown, I am humbled that I have the chance to partake in it and to be a part of the solution through all of my contributions.

Although what one contributes might be less than what another contributes, it is a contribution nonetheless.

Although the challenges we face may differ on a daily basis, the source of our inner resolve remains refreshingly constant. To know that no matter what lies ahead of us, we are affirmed by WHO and WHAT stands BESIDE and BEHIND us, at all times.

Although WE might fail, the moment where we recognize the difference in our efforts and those of HIS, we shall become permanently victorious in all that we do.

At this juncture in your Life, you should be happy to have survived this long and made it this far.

Everything that you have been through has brought you immense wisdom, clarity and further understanding, if you were paying attention.

Sometimes we cannot see the forest for the trees because we are solidly standing in our very own way.

Sometimes we are our very own worst enemy.

Sometimes we give ourselves too little credit for what we have done.

Sometimes we give ourselves too much credit for what we have not done.

And sometimes we forget and misplace the credit to the ONE that deserves it ALL.

No matter where you are within the itemizations, declare that "I Love You!"

For it is within each of the "Seasons of Your Life" that we discover the reasons of where we are, if we are paying attention.

To my current season I declare that "I Love You!" You are the reason that I will be prepared for all of the future "Seasons of My Life." I embrace your wisdom, clarity and further understanding.

"Love Shall Prevail"

In the midst of all of the most horrific things that are happening within the world today, there is something going on at the exact same time to counter the pessimistic, negative energy and actions, filling the voids with optimistic, positive energy and actions.

Those pot holes can and will wreak havoc on the front end alignment of your vehicle and your last minute avoidance could have potentially caused more undue harm to you, someone else or even your vehicle.

The everyday challenges that we face within our lives are no different. They too can wreak havoc and our attempts to avoid them can be more detrimental than to simply face them head on.

Worry not about the impacts of neither! Just remind yourself of who's side that you are on.

The challenges that we face are here to make us stronger and wiser. And even when those challenges become bigger, in all actuality, they begin to pale in comparison to the strength and wisdom that we have garnered along Life's way.

Life pulls FROM us only in order to deposit back WITHIN us.

And now when you travel and happen upon those once havoc wreaking potholes, you can simultaneously FILL them as you travel OVER them, unscathed by what was once a nuisance that no longer exists or impacts your existence.

Whatever we face will always pale in comparison to the face of Love.

Those uphill battles will always provide excellent views, once you're at the top...

Never allow yourself to fail, now that you know, that "Love Shall Prevail."

"To Love Again"

It hurts to feel the sting that we are too quick to attribute to Love. Plain and simple: Love does not hurt. It is not supposed to. And as soon as we think that it is, we need to promptly label that big red flag to read: "THIS IS NOT LOVE!"

Love is not a foregone conclusion, should you forgo it to begin with. What would be the basis of something built on nothing? Zero times zero equals...

You see the only thing that you can subtract from Love, is you. And even then, once your animosity subsides, you'll be back because Love will never remove you from its roll call list and will continue to call out your name until that one day you decide to show up and it marks you present, once again.

So, in order to multiply Love, you need to first add TO Love, literally. The only thing that you should ever take away from Love, is "how to."

It is not going anywhere. Love will always be right here, waiting for your triumphant return to Love. Love needs you, "To Love Again."

"The Elegance Of Love"

The precise craftsmanship that goes into creating an everlasting Love is first acknowledging that Love is the master and that WE are the permanent students of all that Love has and will continue to teach us throughout our OLT (On the Love Training).

I believe that when Love moves in, by default everything contrary to Love has to move out. Not out of choice, but out of necessity. Truth be told, eviction is more appropriate since Love will only accept payment for Love, in the form of Love.

All of your actions, both verbal and physical in nature should be soiled in Love so that what emanates from those actions is nothing short of an extension from the root of the seeds of Love that you have already planted.

Hurtful thoughts and deeds become a thing of the past, having been served their eviction notices when Love signed the Lifelong contract with your heart to forever take up residence in that prime peace of real estate that pumps Life into your entire existence.

Vindictiveness and spitefulness have withered away and died a horrible but much deserved death because Love, while gentle in nature, is THE most powerful force known to exist and has zero tolerance for anarchy towards Love and all that Love so desires to accomplish, starting with you, in your Life.

In all of its elegance, the brilliance of Love can hardly go unnoticed with every intention on staying focused on the tasks at hand: to give and to receive, absolute Love.

Substitutes for Love is mediocrity conjured up and dressed up to appear to be everything that it knows not HOW to be.

You cannot LOOK like Love if you are not Love.

You cannot SOUND like Love if you are not Love.

You cannot PRETEND Love if you are not Love.

You cannot FAKE the authenticity of Love if Love is not within your heart.

And you cannot persuade yourself or others to the POWER of Love, if you yourself are oblivious and fail to believe in its natural elegance, that of which, is "The Elegance Of Love."

"Results WILL Vary!"

If your future is waiting for you to show up, then don't you think that it is high time that you got yourself marked "present" by actually being so?

I used to attribute my tardiness to the fact that I was born as such. Believing that you are "predisposed" is a fallacy dictated by the enemy that doesn't want to ever see you in prosperity.

It is nothing more than a cop out for the people that refuse to help you out. But if they do choose to help you, it is up to you to help them help you by getting yourself marked "present," since YOUR future depends on it and is actually waiting for you to make it happen.

Expectations: create them and see what happens. Likewise. Do not create them and see what happens. The "Results WILL Vary!"

"Just The Way You Are"

I can no longer afford to live or to be comfortable in my Life. The cost by far outweighs the lining of the pockets of my trousers and the risks will always be greater than the rewards. The mental elasticity will dryrot, forever losing its flexibility.

I have yet to discover the perfect hiding place from GOD. How can you hide when HE is omnipresent? HE is there before you get there, leaves before you left, all so that HE can arrive ahead of you, littering your path with HIS Grace and Mercy.

When we choose to get comfy in Life, we are essentially trying to hide from GOD. Well, good luck with that and if you should EVER find a location where GOD is not, I would implore you to not take up residence or even make a pit-stop in said physical locale.

But, Glory Be To GOD, that no such place exists when your heart is the address that the LORD has on HIS identification card. Imagine GOD being pulled over and hands his drivers license to the officer and his address and registration state that HE lives, within YOUR heart.

That is exactly what happens when we attempt to get comfortable and hide from GOD. HE will show up in the form of, in the place of, for the sake of, in the name of, "you and HIS Will." The intersection of "you and GOD's Will" does not have any red lights or stop signs. Your attempts to detour the inevitable is admirable, in a mediocre type of way. GOD indeed has a sense of humor!

Just pay attention to where and how HE chooses to show up in your Life. You don't have to take Corey's word for it. Just ask the officer that asked for HIS driver's license and registration.

GOD, thank YOU for your Son, for being on-time, for showing up and for choosing my heart, as you permanent address. For everything that YOU have ever done in and for my Life, I Love YOU LORD, "Just The Way You Are."

"You'll Never Change"

Change is good! Change makes you take an honest hard look at yourself and itemize the things that you like as well as the things that you do not like, subsequently allowing you to actually do something about it, should you so desire.

Some of us think that change is only relative to those that are around us, externally, as opposed to what is within us, internally.

But since we are all works in progress, we all stand in the need of change. It brings us closer to who and what we are selflessly SUPPOSED to be and not who and what we might selfishly WANT to be.

Perfection might not warrant change, but as imperfect as we are, change is a necessity.

Oft times I have heard people declare out loud their sentiments to another person's charge of "impeccability" by gesturing with their mouthpiece, whether in earshot or not that, "You'll Never Change."

Guilty as charged, GOD knows that I have perpetrated the same vocal sentiments about another. But, that was then. I need not concern myself with what and how a person changes and if they ever feel the desire to do so.

Although my willingness to share in the necessity of change compels me to do just that, it is not my job nor is it my responsibility to dictate it to another. Imperfection is a relative of mine as well.

Thank you LORD! I know that no matter what I go through on this journey of mine, I am humbled by the fact that YOU are perfection, and that "You'll Never Change." I can live with that!

In the meantime I have some itemizations to work through as imperfection steadily calls my name. My concession to the possession of perfection means that I shall forever remain humbled that perfection DOES exist, but only in the Father, through the Son. I can live with that too! Literally!

And thank GOD, "You'll Never Change."

"All Things Are Possible!"

I Smile whenever someone has the audacity to imply, suggest, declare, state or proclaim that something is not possible. Then I silently ponder whether or not they know GOD and if they do, perhaps it is all of the current challenges that has their Faith in the backseat instead of riding shotgun, better yet DRIVING!

But judging another is not the purpose, just an honest observation of a situation that we have or will all one day go through whenever it seems like we have more problems than GOD has time. But why would the keeper of time be compelled to wear a watch? HE "IS" time!

Nothing surpasses the ability of GOD's Holy Word to replace the fear and doubt with courage and certainty.

Possibilities have a tendency to run its course, exhausting itself of its resources and automatically stepping aside...exactly where GOD steps in, picks up, refuels, reenergizes, gets back on track and provides enough motivation to see you through, around and over the towering challenges that you thought outweighed the amount of time that GOD has on HIS agenda.

Do you not know that you "ARE" HIS agenda?

EVERYTHING is POSSIBLE!

The possibility of anything or nothing being possible is an impossible statement to make, should you even be remotely AWARE, of the power of GOD!

"Keep on Talking"

When something sounds so good to our ears and resonates deep down within our souls, we do not ever want to experience a time where we will NOT be able to hear that special "something" that moves us so.

Through the process of maturation, we develop a strong tendency to cling to that voice of reason that we hear whenever we decide to tune in and actually LISTEN to the words that it does not just WHISPER, but speaks ever so LOUDLY, to us.

It is so amazing when you think about the fact that GOD has already equipped us with all that we need in Life to be all that HE sees our lives to be.

As soon as we start listening to the Holy Spirit that resides within us, all "ambiguity" is lost as was the attention paid to the all of those uncertainties that kept our attention for far too long.

Water under the bridge to now ponder what "could have been" since nothing was done during the time that it "should have been."

But all is not lost on the opportunity that was. We are still able to find our way in the thick and in the midst of.

Since you enjoy being on the receiving end of something that sounds so good and means so much, do make sure that you afford someone else the same enjoyment by speaking that "something" special to them.

And may your Smile shine through your voice as you "Keep on Talking" that "something" that sounds so good to their ears and resonates deep down within their souls. May we never experience a time where we will NOT be able to hear that special "something" that moves us so.

Sometimes we find ourselves surrounded and even engulfed in situations that do nothing to enhance our true character assets. We are emboldened by everything that has nothing to do with our best interests. We are steadily assassinating our own character and slowly chipping away at the very structure that can barely tolerate additional structural damage and hold us up in the process.

We should not allow people and things within our lives that do nothing but complicate our existence.

We should only invite the people and things within our lives that "Compliment not Complicate" our existence, emboldened by everything that has everything to do with our best interests.

"I've Come Too Far"

I might not be able to see that finish line just yet, but at least I know that I am headed in the right direction.

The scenery along my path, including all of those "Meaningless Distractions" (http://allthebestallthetime.blogspot.com/2008/01/meaningless-distrations.html) fuel my drive to permanently strive for all of the things that are still waiting for me.

All of those rumble strips along the way were designed to wake me up, get my attention and help me to stay focused on all of my tasks at hand.

I leap at the opportunity to defy the odds and make a mockery out of the words that were meant to make a mockery out of me, because they knew not, WHO and WHAT, stood and stands beside me.

Once you have had the chance to place your feet on the shoulders of the LORD and view the landscape, you know that from that day forth, that no other option is an option, or even exists for that matter.

Who better to stand upon?

What is better to prop yourself up against?

Looking down on Life's odometer, I could never be disconnected from the engine that provides me my motivational drive.

"I've Come Too Far" to look back, go back, retreat or succumb to defeat.

"Why Not Me?"

With everything going on with everyone, sometimes it is easy for us to forget that we're not the only ones.

When tragedies and circumstances befall us, it is too easy and we are entirely too quick to ponder and even ask, "why me?"

Sometimes GOD will use you and your strength and courage as a living testimony to the strength and courage that was planted within you, from the source HIMself.

Sometimes your tragedy and circumstances have nothing to do with you, but everything to do with what GOD has planned for others THROUGH you as well as you YOURself. Who could orchestrate such a plan to perfection? Nobody BUT!

When things are going good for us, we do not beg the question, "why me?" We tend to "silently" say to ourselves, in a whispering fashion, "Why Not Me?" And that is exactly the point!

When things are good, "Why Not Me?"

When things are bad, "Why Not Me?"

In either of those two situations, GOD has and never will leave your side.

The wisdom and understanding that we initially lack compels us to ask, silently or out loud, the inevitable question. But in the midst of, if you need to ask for anything, let it be for wisdom and understanding.

No matter the tragedy or circumstance, it is extremely humbling to know that GOD is using you in what appears to be your darkest hour, your lowest point and your weakest time. Even in tragedy, GOD is working HIS plan according to HIS will, using you to uplift HIM in an exponential capacity that you could not even begin to fathom. Hence the need to always ask for wisdom and understanding.

GOD will surrender unto you a knowledge base so vast that your mind will not be able to readily digest and comprehend it in its totality.

So GOD, use me as YOUR will determines and provide me with the wisdom and understanding that I will need to hear from YOU in the midst of my tragedy and circumstance, to avoid all being lost in me, should I ever ponder out loud, "why me?"

"Depending On Where You Sit"

Whether you are sitting low and looking high, sitting high and gazing down low or somewhere in the middle, the view is said to be determined by your location. But I would strongly beg to differ!

From my perspective, the view is determined by your motivation.

Where you are and where you sit are always in close proximity to where you would like to be and or where you need to be in your Life.

The difference between those two locations is not relative to space nor distance, but rather choices and persistence.

The view from my vantage point is unique to my eyes because no one else has what I have when I have it. Therefore, I have the advantage of making the best out of my situation without feeling less than or compared to, any previous or current observation.

We tend to allow ourselves to get caught up in the perception of things, when perception is only used as bait to deviate us from the reality of those same things.

We tend to lend ourselves to causes and the persuasion of their lure, knowing good and darn well that their occasion is less than pure.

I am humbled by the Grace, wisdom and understanding that the LORD first planted within my Mother, providing a direct path for her to share it with me.

Blessed are those that realize their source of inspiration, keeping it fertilized, watered and manicured.

Blessed are the caretakers of their inspiration, that wholeheartedly understand the magnitude of their role and position, irrespective of the seating chart and what their ticket stub says.

If I was ignorant of the fact that what GOD has for me is for me and me alone, then I would say "yes, funny how different things look, "Depending on Where You Sit.""

But since I am not ignorant of the very fact that what GOD has for me is for me and me alone, it matters not where you physically take up residence or what your ticket stub says.

The view is strictly contingent upon your motivation and has absolutely nothing to do with your location.

Your view on how to live your Life does not "Depend on Where You Sit," but how willing you are to equip yourself in order to make the absolute best out of all that you have.

When all is said and done, you might choose to stand as opposed to sitting anyway. Why not start TODAY?!.

"I Won't Take It Back"

Introductions were in order when I first found out the reason so many Blessings were bestowed upon me.

My Mother took it upon her beautiful self to introduce me to the LORD, starting with HIS Son.

"Sunday School here I come," every Sunday morning. I remember coming home with the art and props that we used during class to illustrate the greatness of the LORD.

Over the years, everything in my Life has changed, yet the one constant source for everything in my Life has remained unchanged.

I went from art and props to songs, testimonies and Blogs to illustrate the greatness of the LORD. You see when you begin to avail yourself, the time that you used to not have, avails itself, solving all of the instances of "not having the time" at all.

When you are ready to start living the Life that was purposed for you and you alone, the start time is right now. You cannot possibly be waiting for anything because everything is waiting for you to kick it up a notch.

I Love my LORD and Savior. I said it and "I Won't Take It Back."

Thank you Mother! Your smallest efforts ALWAYS made the biggest of differences within my Life. And they STILL do!

I said it, I'll say it again and again and guess what?! "I Won't Take It Back!"

Allow your Life to be a walking illustration of the greatness of the LORD, demonstrated on the canvas of experiences that paint your background.

If "Beauty" is in the eye of the beholder, then I am a very wealthy man, to be in visual possession of all of the "Beauty" that is contained within you.

I see all that I like.

The most beautiful thing about your "Beauty" is the fact that it effortlessly does exactly what it needs to do, exactly when it needs to be done, for no other reason than to bring a Smile about you, upon you, for no one else, but you.

Your "Beauty" is full and your intentions extract the pureness from my heart, as my lips part ways so that they can begin to utter exactly what you mean to me.

The words may be temporarily lost, but are permanently found and properly returned to their rightful owners.

"Before I Needed It Done"

You can hear the knives being drawn from their sheaths.

The sound alone would have the average man quiver in fear of the unknown and what he THINKS is about to occur.

But even an average man that is smart enough to worship an above average GOD knows that the sound that he THINKS he just heard was not knives, rather plastic utensils at best.

The very same weapons that you would purpose to bring harm to or against me shall and will be reduced to the useless artifacts that will accomplish absolutely nothing in the presence of my LORD and Savior.

Even as a 3rd Degree Black Belt, I need not lift one hand, because my Faith in the LORD requires me, but to stand.

So you sharpen the knives that HE will make dull.

Attempt to empty my Spirit that HE will make full.

Insult the intelligence that HE so afforded me.

Your ignorance knows not the destination of Glory within Thee.

I will Smile anyway!

I will Praise HIM even more! It matters not should you refuse to answer my knock at the door.

What would once bother me is now powerless over me, ever since I renewed and restored all of HIM, within all of me.

YOU gave us YOUR only begotten Son.

And I thank YOU LORD, because YOU did it, "Before I Needed It Done."

"Let the Past Go"

"The future is waiting for you to relinquish the past."

In order for you to move forward, you need to stop looking backwards and following it up with subsequent steps in the same direction.

Moving is not synonymous with going somewhere. And just because you are moving does not mean that you are actually going anywhere.

"Showing up" does not mean that you were "invited." But when that R.S.V.P. has YOUR name written on it, someone or something, somewhere, are awaiting your arrival.

The only prerequisite is that you arrive unfiltered in your ambitions, concentrated in your thoughts, undivided in your attention and unquestionable in your intentions.

I said, "The future is waiting for you to relinquish the past." So, why are you still holding on to it? That circular motion that prohibits you from turning a corner in your Life is silently begging you to let go, to "Let the Past Go."

"I Tried It On My Own"

They say that should you "fail to plan," then you have effectively "planned to fail."

My Mother used to tell me, "Corey, sometimes you have to fail, in order to succeed."

I Loved my sweet Mother with all of my might, but for the Life of me, I didn't and couldn't understand all of what she fed me, until the day that I finally got hungry. How sweet the taste of the buffet of knowledge and wisdom that she imparted on me.

To this day, I remain eternally grateful for all that I have ever experienced: good, bad and otherwise. All of which, has taught me all of what, I know.

Within my Life, failure both perceived and realized, has awaken the Spirit within me to the realization that there were good reasons for all of my failures.

Having the audacity to "try" to do something, anything without HIM is a sure fire way to set yourself up for perpetual failure. But, the inclusion of HIM, embedded within HIS will, utilizing HIS gift unto you, will position yourself to give HIM the glory in the midst of authoring your very own story, albeit all about HIM.

You see, failure is no longer an option for me. I turned over a new leaf, started acting upon my beliefs, took up residence within my new home. The core of all of my failures were due to the fact that, "I Tried It On My Own."

But, glory be to GOD, because I "planned to fail" every time that I ever excluded HIM.

Therefore, my sweet Mother was absolutely right when she first told me, "Corey, sometimes you have to fail, in order to succeed."

The core of all of my Life's failures were due to the fact that, "I Tried It On My Own."

Do not exclude HIM "any" of the time when it is necessarily paramount to include HIM, "all" of the time.

"I'm Not Worried!"

The Smile that doubles as my umbrella keeps a perpetual glow of happiness constantly surrounding me.

Just as an umbrella is designed to protect against the inclement "weather," the Smile is so designed to protect against the maliciousness and callousness of others, "whether" or not it was their intent or by accident.

Either way, "I'm Not Worried!"

GOD is bigger than anything that I will ever encounter within my Lifetime. Even when the deceitfulness of whatever I encounter would have me to believe that IT is bigger than the GOD that presides over my Life.

Since I believe the former and not the latter, "I'm Not Worried!"

The only thing that worrying ever accomplished was absolutely NOTHING!

The only thing that GOD ever accomplished was absolutely EVERYTHING!

Therefore, "I'm Not Worried!"

"Nobody But"

I stood there with all of the strength that I could humanly muster to lift up my Mother's casket.

I know where it came from. I know how I got it. My outer body experience had everything to do with the LORD taking up residence within my frame at the right place at the right time to prevent HIS child from crumbling on sight, on the spot.

Everything that I have ever been through is nothing short of preparation for what the LORD needs for me to go through so that I may in turn sing HIS praises from the highest peaks to the deepest valleys. And I will!

As a matter of fact, I already have and continue to do so as a personal reminder of all that can be accomplished when the focus is on the right thing, at the right time.

All too eager, I am ready to flex my might and defend myself against the fool hearted who know not the LORD or those that do know HIM, yet deny HIM because they have encountered a struggle or two or maybe more than a few.

My experiences just may be the right testimony for the person that needs to hear it right now. You never struggle alone. You are never without a home. The presence of the LORD is both hear AND here. Do not fail to realize all that is righteously clear.

I move because I have room to maneuver. I follow because I trust HIS lead. I struggle within the confines of my Faith to strengthen everything that I believe about it.

The name alone musters the nerve, garners the strength, makes the "im" possible, destroys the enemy, exposes the "frenemy" and comforts and soothes the soul within me.

When you are not strong enough, I implore you to at least be smart enough to draw from a source of strength that is greater than yours.
The strength born from everything that you will ever go through has but one source, "Nobody But."

I don't care WHAT you are going through in your Life! When you cannot do anything but, ALWAYS remember that there is "Nobody But," King Jesus!

"I See YOU, In Me"

My reflection just isn't the same anymore. The features are familiar, the profile might be similar, but it is the internal make over that shines through to the external image that I now see.

Extreme make overs are not strictly relative to what you see on the outside, rather the transformation of what is blossoming on the inside, one step at a time.

You see some prefer the maintenance of being "made up" although they are vastly aware that they keep constantly "breaking down." They keep slapping band-aids on wounds that are too deeply rooted and superficially insufficient to know that their circular motions will never lead them to turn a corner in their lives.

If the preventive maintenance is not working then it is time to get a new mechanic or better yet, trade the old in for the new so that you do not continue to look good on the outside, but are torn to pieces on the inside.

It is one thing to look good in the midst of, but do not lie to yourself, thus causing you to lie to others, that all is well, when you no longer even recognize who you see in the mirror and what you do, that others are constantly baring witness to.

Perception is reality's mediocre way of fabricating the truth.

If you do not like WHO you are, then it is time to change WHAT you are!

As soon as I began to empty all of self, filling up with thee, my reflection began to change, because "I See YOU, In Me."

"Then That's What We'll DO"

"Life" is my right hand man. It has taught me, continues to teach me and guide me through the choices that I make and the decision-making processes that I deploy for those very choices that I make.

I am nothing without my Life, thus I am grateful FOR my Life and all of the challenges that Life allows me to turn into opportunities.

Gracing the cover of Life's victory is my life-long goal that I plan to accomplish on-time with as many or as little resources as is needed.

When you have Life on your side, there is nothing that cannot be imagined, planned or accomplished as you constantly strive to make a better Life out of the one that has you thinking that Life (YOUR Life) is meaningless.

Meaningful with an emphasis on "FULL" is what shall be found on Life's agenda. But as with every agenda, there are subsequent meeting minutes that are accompanied with "action items" that are assigned to EACH of us.

These unfinished "action items" oft times prevent us from making the necessary progress to Life's next level. So complete all of the "action items" that have your name next them.

Make Life your right hand man/woman, paying close attention to Life's agenda. When you need to do, DO! Life will always be by your side as you complete each and every one of your tasks.

Since "Loving" more is on my Life's agenda, "Then That's What We'll DO."

Since "Forgiveness" is on my Life's agenda, "Then That's What We'll DO."

Since "Repairing" what was once irreparably damaged is on my Life's agenda, "Then That's What We'll DO."

Since being "Successful" is on my Life's agenda, "Then That's What We'll DO."

Since "Prayer" is on my Life's agenda, "Then That's What We'll DO."

Since "Worship" is on my Life's agenda, "Then That's What We'll DO."

Since being "Victorious" is on my Life's agenda, "Then That's What We'll DO."

I may not know what "Life" has in store for me until that very moment, but since GOD gave me "Life," I know and trust everything that "Life" has to offer me in addition to all that "Life" would have me to DO.

Life has my Life already mapped out. The only requirement is for me to keep my tank full and to not get off on any unnecessary exits.

Whenever I listen to my Life's GPS, I never get off track and even learn a new path or two in the process. But without fail, as soon as I stop listening to my Life's GPS voice, I am error-prone and completely off course.

And since "Listening" to my Life's GPS is on my Life's agenda, "Then That's What We'll DO!"

"Hold It Together, Until GOD Makes It Better!"

With all of your strength and might, you continuously hold on while GOD continues to fight, ALL of your battles on your behalf.

Your struggles are not going unnoticed, were not, are not in vain. Just imagine all of the character that was built from all of the pain.

My Sweet Mother was ADAMANT about there being a silver lining in EVERY cloud, even that dark one that is hovering over you right now.

But when you emerge from that darkness (AND YOU WILL) you need to be ready, you better be prepared for the path that the LORD has cleared, thus making for you. While you're in that waiting room, build upon your strength and endurance because when GOD moves, so will you. You have NO choice!

You have no say, BUT to Pray!

All of my Life I have witnessed GOD demolish mountains to heaps of rubble as a reward for my Faithful struggle. HIS eyes are upon you, HIS strength is within you, HIS Love sustains you and HIS word protects you!

My GOD they celebrated my defeat because they thought that I was alone. Little did they know that I reside in my Masters home. They tried to evict me from the premises. But they had no idea that YOU are the Genesis. They even tried to foreclose on my residence. My GOD, my Faith helped me to abstain from succumbing to their ignorance.

I have come to find out that you DO have a say. It is called Prayer!

When you have no say, BUT to Pray, you Pray!

When you have survived another day, you Pray!

When you humble yourself and give all of the glory to GOD, HE will reward your Faithfulness! Pray!

You hold on because no matter what, HE has not and will not ever let you go.

"Act On Your Inspiration"

Have you ever met someone, heard or saw something that had you in complete awe and just totally inspired you to DO? So, what was it that you wound up doing? Did it compel you to continue and if so, how? How long did that last for you?

With passport in hand, my eternal quest for inspiration takes me, far and wide, to places I have never been before, to learn things that I did not previously know, something new.

If Life is represented in the form of a window, then for purposes of clarity, visibility, certainty, understanding and Love, it is mandatory that you open your window and let GOD's light shine in and through.

The curtains have been drawn for far too long and even if you have zero reservations, no itinerary currently planned, have your passport on standby to allow you to hit the ground running when the opportunity so presents itself.

That way you will not be able to use the "I do not have a passport" line as an excuse. It is kind of like keeping your resume up to date even if you are happy in your current role. You never know when GOD might want to shuffle things around to get your feet moving so that you do not continue to let the grass grow under your feet.

Whenever I happen upon something that so inspires me to move, I MOVE!

Whenever I hear something that resonates to my core, I permit those vibes to transfer through me so that they can resonate to the core of others.

Whenever I read something that mandates the "verb in me" to do something, I do it!

From day to day I do not know where the LORD is taking me, but with my passport in hand, itinerary or not, I am ready!

In the event that HE might want to shuffle things around in my Life, my resume is up to date and ready to be deployed to future potential opportunities.

My affiliation with inspiration is strictly for the purposes of keeping the tank full, to avoid running out and to replenish whenever you feel like you have been running on fumes, both literally and figuratively speaking.

Sometimes the reminders need reminding that as soon as we take our eyes off of our purpose laden lives, we begin to lose our balance and our ways for no other reason than to DETER us from what GOD has FOR us.

And if you think that this Blog is talking directly to you, then it probably is, preceded, followed and littered throughout with nothing but the best that Love has to offer.

If the inspiration of what you had has dwindled and it no longer compels you, then it is time to rejuvenate yourself.

"Did You Wash These Grapes?"

Why do we all have a tendency to ask questions that we already know the answers to?

I have been guilty of and quite honestly have been perturbed by inquiries where I thought that the answer should have been obvious. Before uttering a single word in response, I think that my facial expressions had the chance to answer before my brain told my mouth what it needed to say, perhaps gently.

Having brunch with my children my son quite honestly asked me a simple question: "Daddy,"Did You Wash These Grapes?""

I looked up at my son and then looked over to my daughter before telling him, "Daddy actually rolled the grapes in dirt before I put them on your plate." While he thought I was serious, his sister was clearly in on the joke. I couldn't resist pulling his leg a little while longer before honestly answering his question.

I did not have it in me to be perturbed at my sons inquiry. It was an honest question. Afterall, I have always encouraged them to ask and to be satisfied with the response before they move forward. If they do not feel comfortable with the response, they have a choice to make, a decision to render. But once they do feel comfortable, move forward.

Such an innocent question that had me thinking far beyond the question itself and deeper than the meaning that any conclusion that could have been drawn.

Sometimes, for whatever reason, we ALL ask questions that we already know the answers to. The question that we do not know the answer to is "why?" Do we need to double up on the answer knowing that the subsequent response to the initial and identical question is actually the same result? Who knows!?!

Since I too have been guilty of asking the same question more than once, I guess I should tame my facial expressions and make them wait for my brain to catch up so as not to give the impression that someone else's inquiry is not relevant, relative or unnecessary.

Mind you, relentlessly asking the same questions will accomplish nothing. Like I told my children: "If they do not feel comfortable with the response, they have a choice to make, a decision to render. But once they do feel comfortable, move forward."

After much ado about a little dirt on grapes, I responded to my little guy by ensuring him, "yes son, Daddy washed the grapes."

Maybe that assurance was all that he was looking for afterall?

So, do not let your facial expressions beat your brain to the punch. Smile profusely and respond gently.

My Mother's innate desire to upright my Life even when hers itself was upside down. As a parent myself, I get it.

To all of the times that I failed to listen, when listening would have prevented me from failing.

To all of my perceived and realized areas in which I can improve upon to make Corey better and subsequently the lives that Corey impacts.

To every challenge that I failed to ever introduce myself to for no other reason than fear itself.

And even to my "spoiled" children, when every once in a while I tell them no, just to familiarize them with the word. Daddy really means...

When GOD tells me no for one thing, I understand that for something else that HE has for me, it will be...

To walking out of the shadows of the dimly lit 40 watt past and into the brightness of the 100 watt future.

"Beautiful"

It is time to fall back in Love with Love all over again. Those "Meaningless Distractions" (http://allthebestallthetime.blogspot.com/2008/01/meaningless-distrations.html) have had their fun in the sun at your expense even though you knew that the price to pay for them was entirely too high to begin with.

But that shall forever remain water under the bridge from this day forth. So, unless you are drawing on that costly mistake so as to not repeat it again, leave it as such, as water under the bridge.

The beauty of Love is the fact that it has never changed, was and shall always remain the same.

It looks just as it did when we last saw it.

It feels the same as it did when we last touched it.

It smells the same as it did from the moment we took our first to our last whiff of it.

It even recognizes us once we shove our pride out of the way and we return to it.

Another beauty of Love is how Love generously held our spots for our inevitable return. We thought we were through with Love, but the truth of the matter is, we have zero say OVER Love.

Have you ever fallen in Love with someone you never thought that you would?

Have you ever done things that you once advised others not to do in the name of Love, only to realize that you do not practice what you preach?

Have you ever fallen so deep in Love that you are STILL waiting for your feet to touch the bottom?

Like I said, we have zero say OVER Love.

Falling back in Love with Love is one of the most "Beautiful" things that we are so fortunately Blessed to be able to do.

Experiencing Love with Love is one of the most "Beautiful" things that we are so fortunately Blessed to be able to draw from.

Allowing the seeds of Love to be planted within our hearts, thus granting Love with Love to take root and residence within our souls is nothing short of being "Beautiful."

"Entitled"

Momma used to warn me about "getting too big for my britches."

Ladies, if he has refused to offer you a commitment in the physical form (Ring), clearly displaying his intentions, then why do you allow him to feel "Entitled?"

Gentlemen, if she is convenient in her approach and only when you can or are doing something for her, then why do you allow her to feel "Entitled?"

Don't get me wrong, all of us are guilty of doing what we feel we need to do in order to keep our significant others happy as we navigate our way through our relationships. But, "Entitled?" Some of us are "getting too big for our britches" and clearly take others and their kindness for granted.

You are only "Entitled" to what you make happen, what you earn. And even then you still need to be considerate of the feelings of others so as to not give off the appearance that you ARE "getting too big for your britches" and that you do, undeservedly, feel "Entitled."

So ladies, if he has done exactly what he said he was going to do and you proudly wear his intentions (Ring), then give him what he deserves. Allow him to feel "Entitled." He is making it happen!

And gentlemen, if she crosses your T's and dots your I's in the form of completing you, allow her to feel "Entitled." She is making it happen!

Both scenarios have earned and deserve the right to feel "Entitled." Respectively, they are making it happen!

So, stop ACTING "Entitled!" Until you actually start DOING something, you are just merely "ACTING."

However your relationship plays out and whatever you determine to be important within that relationship, afford it the opportunity to earn the right to be "Entitled." Respectfully give it the benefit of the doubt and allow "IT" to "make IT happen."

After all that the LORD has DONE for me, HE "deserves" my Praise. I will continuously "make that happen" because HE, is "Entitled!"

Nothing but HIS Grace and Mercy that granted me another opportunity to take HIS Blessing and "my" purpose and live out its FULL potential in the same and only manner that HE would have me to.

I survived all of this because HE covered me!

That supervisor and those disparaging remarks. I am BIGGER than that because I am a "Survivor!"

Those elementary school bully's that used to push me around until my LITTLE sister pushed them back, forcing them to finally leave me alone. I am stronger than they thought because I am a "Survivor!"

I took the scenic route in accomplishing my academic goals, but I knew that I was smarter than they ever gave me credit for because I am a "Survivor!"

That failed relationship that had me acting totally out of character. I can do bad "all by my lonely" because I am a "Survivor!"

All of the pain and suffering, some self-imposed, that used to define my life, don't hurt anymore. I am a "Survivor!"

The unyoked marriage that ended in divorce; I steamroll my energy into taking care of my two kids that are proof positive with their constant reminders, that I am a "Survivor!"

Everything that I've ever been through and my young eyes witnessed before my young mind could even begin to process. "Survivor!"

I stand here today as a "Survivor" doing the only thing that I know how to do. Survive.

For every piece of adversity that I ever had to face THUS FAR, I THANK YOU for making Corey a "Survivor."

If you do not believe that you are here for a reason, then WHY, are YOU, a "Survivor?"

The next time that "they" try to take you out, list and run your itemized credentials and remind yourself, "I am a "Survivor!"" Now that you know that you are a "Survivor," you have to go and tell someone else, that they are a "Survivor" too.

"Forever"

When "we" start to believe that "IT" will not last, just perhaps we have "OUR" collective focus on the wrong thing.

The only thing that lasts for all eternity is our eternal GOD. So, if "OUR" focus does not reside within HIM, why are we surprised that "IT" did not last?

If there are only one set of directions, then why do we insist upon reinventing the wheel and the direction in which it travels?

If brushing and flossing our teeth throughout the day, every day affords us sustainable oral hygiene, then it makes perfect sense for us to brush and floss our teeth throughout the day, every day.

The same holds true for Prayer.

The only thing that lasts "Forever," is the Love of GOD.

Focus on the right thing so that "IT" can and WILL, afford us a sustainable Life, through the Love of GOD, that will last, "Forever."

"Blip"

Sometimes we expel so much energy, allowing ourselves to get so worked up at what turns out to be nothing but small potatoes.

The energy of two entities ping ponging back and forth to one another with neither wanting to relinquish the title of "Last Word."

Then there are those that bring that "everything's a tragedy" type of energy into your surroundings and if you're not too careful, you will wind up mourning right along with them.

I have come to the realization that my attention needs to be handed out proportionately. Therefore, I need to define the severity or lack thereof before drawing a conclusion as to who and what gets my attention and for how long.

Always decipher what is presented to you. It will either be a "tragedy" or a "Blip." Most of the time it will be a "Blip" exaggerated as something more, hence the need for YOU to make the determination as to what it truly is and how much attention that you ultimately decide to give to it.

Deflate the purported "tragedies" within your Life and put them in their "Blipping" place. Afterall, they are probably just exaggerated and add up to nothing more than a "Blip" that would not otherwise even register on your radar.

Now go reinvest that time and energy that you just saved, compliments of your successful ability to decipher between the two.

That extra time that you just saved is kind of like that $20 you found in your pants pocket while doing the laundry. Now go find something to do with it!

Preface your participation with a single question: "Is this a tragedy or is this a "Blip?" Then proportionately take it from there.

"More"

We always want what we do not have and then once we get it, we generally do not even know what to do with it. That is the exact point in time where our "appreciation" appears to fall by the wayside.

We first need to understand what we have, what it means to us, the role that it plays in our lives and the impacts on and TO us should we one day no longer have it there FOR us.

It is kind of hard to fathom the 100% permanent removal of someone or something from our lives until it or they are actually gone. One of those experiences that cannot be lived vicariously.

So, before you ask for "More," try taking inventory of what you already have. You might not actually need "More." Just the opposite, you might actually be in need of "less."

"Don't let your eyes get bigger than your belly," Momma would say. Until you truly know what you have, don't even BOTHER with asking for "More."

"Visibility"

When I was in it, I couldn't see the forest for the trees. When I stepped out of it, I began to see peripherally. You cannot readily identify the who, what, where and why's, when you constantly see things only through your eyes.

Sometimes you need to step OUT in order to bring yourself IN.

We don't necessarily need to see the END in order for "us" to BEGIN.

We just merely need to see beyond the tips of our noses and the forest for the trees, not forgetting the "thanks you's," the "may I's," "excuse me's" and the "please."

A small token of appreciation for my relentless dedication as I pace my way through this constant transformation.

I am most "Grateful" for all of the opportunities before me.

I am both honored and humbled by my enormous role and responsibilities.

May everything good that is ever done, be multiplied exponentially.

May every Prayer that I utter stretch from where I am to the Heavenly.

What GOD took Corey out of proved to be worthy of a testimony born of a test, to conclude the only fact, that I am truly Blessed.

Preparation was the solicitation after having rid myself of all stagnation and procrastination.

Thank GOD for taking me OUT, so that HE could bring me back IN.

Thank GOD for the four seasons, the foliage of the Fall. Right in the middle of the forest for the trees, I can now see it all. And even though change brings us OUT of one and IN to the next, the foliage allows it to still be beautiful in the process.

Whether you can see the forest for the trees or you are lost within, Pray for peace and allow the process to begin.

You might not understand the who, what, where and why's, but when it is all said and done, you will indeed become wise. Wise to the grandest of all affordability. Thank you LORD GOD for my sanity as well as my "Visibility."

It is past time that you own up to your full potential. Not because others mandate it of you, but because GOD inserted it within you and you have blindly chosen to do nothing with it.

It is not anyone's fault but yours should you continue to wallow in pity, swim in the shallow end where your feet can actually touch the bottom, create hollow goals, all the while attempting to live up to your best.

Do not live because a Blog told you to. Live because you owe it to yourself to. And since we are unable to live in death, we only have a single option, and that is to do it while we are alive and able to.

When the Spirit of the LORD is upon you, it matters not who attempts to shun you.

It is past time that you remove everyone else's "Me" from your Life so that you can start to "Be" within your very own Life.

Because when the Spirit of the LORD is upon you, it matters NOT who attempts to shun you, in your quest to "Be."

When I wake up in the morning, I'm already thinking about the next subject that I am going to write about.

As I give thanks for the Blessings of yet another day, I am simultaneously seeking inspiration so that I can in turn inspire.

I write as I'm brushing my teeth.

I create as I'm getting dressed.

I am committing to memory what I have authored in my mind as I drive to work.

As I walk to lunch, I am allowing myself to be inspired.

As I travel home, the inspiration continues.

When I prepare dinner, I am also cooking up the thoughts of the day.

I create as I'm getting undressed.

I write as I'm brushing my teeth.

Before I go to sleep at night, I'm already thinking about the next subject that I am going to write about.

As I give thanks for the Blessings of the conclusion of yet another day, I am simultaneously seeking inspiration so that I can in turn inspire.

You see, if you are not "Passionate" about what it is that you do, then chances are you won't get anything done.

You need to live, breathe, eat, sleep and do everything that you are "Passionate" about.

You don't give up because it becomes hard. That's the very reason why it should be harder for you to give up.

You gotta be "Passionate" about BEING "Passionate" and what ultimately fuels your motivational DRIVE. Otherwise, you'll always be stuck in NEUTRAL.

With that said, do you REALLY think that you're "Passionate?"

"Grateful"

Yesterday,
Today,
Tomorrow.

What I learned Yesterday, prepared me for what I know Today, that now affords me the experience to move forward with Tomorrow.

Even though my little brother did not live long, I am "Grateful" that I was and able to hear him call me his big brother.

When all I had to eat was butter and sugar on top of my rice, I remember being "Grateful" that my Mother made sure that I did not go to bed hungry.

When I met my biological father two days prior to graduating high school, I might not have been then, but today, I am "Grateful" that we had the opportunity to meet.

Although I no longer have my Mother, I am "Grateful" for all of the times that we shared great conversation that still resonates with me to this day.

Even though I did not grow up privileged, I am "Grateful" for Grace and Mercy allowing me the Blessing of growing up.

I may only hear from them when they need something, but I am "Grateful" for my entire family.

Initially, I did not know if I would ever have any, but GOD Blessed me with two wonderful "Children" (http://allthebestallthetime.blogspot.com/2010/03/children.html). And for that reason, I am wonderfully "Grateful."

I may have the worst commute with the shortest distance, but I am so very "Grateful" that I am employed and able to feed my family.

Our new place of Christian worship might be under construction, but I am "Grateful" that I STILL have a place to go and Praise the LORD.

As I was finding my way and learning my purpose in Life, I am "Grateful" that my LORD and Savior saw me for what HE purposed me for and not what I thought I should have been.

I am eternally "Grateful" for HIS patience and understanding.

I may have fallen down Yesterday,
But I got right back up Today,
And GOD is steadily preparing me for Tomorrow.

I am forever "Grateful" for HIM providing me with all of my needs.

Because of that, I am "Grateful."

If all of my "Yesterday's" gave me "Today" and all of my "Today's" give me "Tomorrow," then I am truly "Grateful."

"Transparency"

In the last few years of my Life I have made some pretty radical changes. It is like just waking up one morning, one day and realizing that "I am not who I have been portraying to be." And it is not that you have intentionally been deceitful to yourself or anyone else for that matter. No, it is not that at all.

You have been convicted within yourself that it is time to do better for yourself and by yourself and everything that you now know needs to change.

We have become so content with ourselves that we blindly accept ourselves just because it is US that is the subject of the matter. Until we wake up that one morning...

Sometimes we realize that we no longer "like what we see." Sometimes we realize that we are not "all that we can be." Sometimes we realize that we are doing everything for everyone else and not doing enough for "ME."

My transformation came in phases that in hindsight were wonderfully crafted from on High: customized, communicated and delivered to Corey who was anywhere but THERE, listening to anything but THAT and doing everything but THIS.

If you know how good GOD is, then you are wonderfully familiar with all of the aforementioned. Should you not know how good GOD is, then you still have the wonderful opportunity to learn all about the aforementioned.

You have to crawl before you walk and every little milestone is nothing short of a celebration for the preparation that is already underway, even if you are/were unaware of what was happening, as it was happening, right before your very eyes. I did not get it until I started to get it. And if you still do not get it, just live a little longer, you will.

That person that you had been impersonating was not even a good method actor, but an untrained and unskilled performer at best. It is right then and there that we must step out (on Faith), step up (our game), step on (fewer toes), step back (to re-evaluate ourselves), step in (to our new skin) and step forward (one foot in front of the other) as we move towards "Progression" (http://allthebestallthetime.blogspot.com/2010/03/progression.html).

Whatever phases your transformation chooses to come in, do not ignore it, yet embrace it. Allow the Spirit to lead as you humbly follow the new direction for your new Life. Unless of course, the perfection within your Life requires zero interference.

After Corey started following the Spirit, I learned the significance of living a Life of "Transparency." I no longer need to hide myself, my past, my anything, because I am new in every phase of my Life.

I am a new Corey! And whether marginally or exceptionally, that advanced reciprocity in the form of "Transparency," pays for what has yet to even be purchased, borrows not, lives for HIM and Loves in the latest and greatest version of Corey.

How could I not share in what has been bestowed upon me, in the form of "Transparency?" Rhetorical.

If you really want to live Life free, then I strongly encourage you to live a Life of "Transparency."
